Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric. Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors. Performs all duties and responsibilities for the assigned shift. Documents all pertinent data on the patient's medical record after completing service. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose and possible side effects of each.

• Ability to appropriately initiate, operate, manage, and liberate non-invasive and invasive modes of mechanical ventilation [Required]
• Ability to perform ABG Puncture, analysis, arterial cannulation using sterile procedure, and hemodynamic monitoring [Required]
• Ventilator patient transportation [Required]
• Knowledge and skill to care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient in a health care delivery system [Required]
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science [Required]

Field of Study:

• 1+ years experience as a respiratory therapist [Preferred]
