Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist, with current state licensure Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is strongly preferred Proficient in performing assessments, administering treatments, and operating respiratory equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to respond promptly and effectively in fast-paced situationsKey Responsibilities:
Delivering all aspects of respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including administering oxygen, breathing treatments, and other therapeutic interventions Monitoring patient responses and adjusting therapies according to medical directives and patient needs Assisting physicians and nurses with diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function testing Educating patients and families on respiratory management and at-home care techniques Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in patient records Ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times This contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside healthcare professionals dedicated to patient well-being, while also enhancing your clinical experience in a supportive setting.
