A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Role:
We are seeking licensed Respiratory Therapists to join our collaborative, team-based environment. Our extensive training program ensures confidence and success in providing top-notch patient care. This role offers autonomy in managing your workload, opportunities to make a meaningful impact, and ongoing professional development.
How you will contribute:
Perform CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator setups Provide mask fittings for patients Troubleshoot respiratory equipment Educate patients on maintenance and cleaning of all supplies and equipment Demonstrate expertise in equipment operation upon request after training What we need from you: Current RCP license in the state of Connecticut Ability to conduct in-home and office-based patient appointments in New London CT and surrounding areas Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable lifting medical equipment (25-50 lbs.)
