We are looking for a

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

with valid state(s) respiratory care license to join our team. This is a field RT covering the New Haven and Hartford counties. Patient assessment in an acute care setting and getting the information to the subacute facilities Follow up on these patients in the subacute nursing homes and when needed, set up bipaps, cpaps, and hi flow units Complete patient files and paperwork as per current policy and procedures and any appropriate paperwork, as assigned. Set up equipment; CPAP, Bi-Level, air compressor, ventilators and oxygen equipment. Administration of therapies. Provide education to patience and families. Serve as liaison between patient and other members of the Health Care team, when required. Perform testing and preventive maintenance on respiratory equipment. Instruct patients, caregivers, physicians and physicians staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment and necessary cleaning requirements. Complete progress reports and necessary billing information and submits in a timely manner. Assist other staff and perform other duties, as assigned by management. Job Requirements RRT, RCP, CRTT or eligible and meeting the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) requirements. Valid state(s) Respiratory Care license. Able to lift heavy objects from a squatting to standing position. Must possess good people skills, be able to follow‑up. Must be detail oriented and well organized. Min. 2 year of experience.
