The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support patients requiring respiratory therapy and critical care services. Key Responsibilities Clinical Respiratory Care Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient conditions Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments Manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation Assist with airway management and artificial airway support Monitor patient response to treatment and document care accurately Support physicians and nursing teams in delivering patient-centered care Emergency & Critical Care Support Respond to emergency respiratory situations and resuscitation efforts Assist with ventilator-dependent patient transport Maintain airway integrity and patient safety during emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Operations & Compliance Follow hospital policies, respiratory care protocols, and infection control standards Ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained and operational Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance Required Qualifications Active RRT / Respiratory Care Practitioner License required Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate required Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date Preferred Qualifications Acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred Mechanical ventilation and emergency respiratory care experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
