This position allows the therapist to engage directly in critical care, emergency medicine, and patient recovery, making a significant impact on patient wellbeing Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a variety of clinical settings. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment Collaborate with a healthcare team including physicians, nurses and other therapists to develop treatment protocols Monitor and record the progress of patients Educate patients and their families on lung health and respiratory treatments Required Skills Proficient in using ventilators, CPAP machines, and oxygen therapy devices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations and make informed clinical decisions Knowledge of current respiratory care practices and technologies
