NICU/PICU
setting at a leading Miami Beach hospital. This travel position offers the opportunity to work with advanced respiratory equipment, including High Flow Devices, 3100A ventilators, Bunnell systems, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and more, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.Location:
Situated in vibrant Miami Beach, FL, this hospital delivers tertiary care as a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, featuring a Level 3 NICU and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The area offers a dynamic urban environment with diverse culture, beautiful beaches, and numerous recreational activities.Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory treatments and monitor patients with respiratory illnesses inNICU/PICU.
Utilize advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery systems for optimal patient care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech system. May provide coverage for adult floors providing nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, and chest physiotherapy.Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience.Required certifications:
BLS, NRP, and PALS. Preferred experience with Meditech documentation system.NICU/PICU
experience highly desired. Strong critical thinking skills, adaptability, and team orientation.Schedule/Hours:
