Job Description:
- $20,000 Sign on Bonus available for eligible candidates (RRT Only)

- + Utilizes patient assessment skills, protocols, and chart reviews to determine therapy efficacy and makes appropriate recommendations.

- + ABG Puncture and Analysis [Required] + CPR and basic Airway management and suctioning [Required] + Oscillatory Chest Physiotherapy Applications [Required] + Application Non-Invasive Oxygen Therapies & devices [Required] + Respiratory Monitoring Pulse oximetry applications [Required] + Medicated Aerosol Therapies, Bronchial Hygiene Therapies, Lung Expansion Therapies [Required] + Basic Spirometry [Required] + Routine Oxygen Delivery, Devices, and Oximetry [Required] + Non-Invasive High Flow Therapy [Required] + Non-Invasive Heliox Therapy [Required] + Basic Tracheotomy Care [Required] + Advanced Tracheostomy Care including tracheotomy change & de-cannulation [Required] + Non-Invasive Bilevel Application & Management [Required] + Invasive and Non-Invasive End Tidal Co2 Capnography Application & Monitoring [Required] + Advanced Tracheostomy Care/Change out/de-cannulations [Required] + Bronchoscopy Assist [Required] + Advanced Conventional & Non-Conventional Ventilator Management [Required] + Utilize and adapt to State of the Art Technology, Computer Systems and Applications [Required] + Effective Oral and Written Communication [Required] + Esophageal balloon manometry [Required] + V entilator waveform interpretation skills [Required] + Application of inhaled Nitric Oxide gas and pulmonary vasodilator medications [Required] + Pediatric and Neonatal critical care experience and skills [Required] •
Education:
- + Associate's [Required]
Field of Study:
- + in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
Work Experience:
- + 1+ years clinical experience in acute care setting [Required]

A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
