A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Summary and Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)- Full-time, DAYS The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
What qualifications you will need:
NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Associate Degree in Respiratory Care BCLS- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date NRP
