Requirements :

Must have at least 6 months recent of acute care RRT experience.

• Would accept CRT experience NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required Completion of a two year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent) BCLS
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ACLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date PALS
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date NRP
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Responsibilities Assess patients' respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and physical examination findings.

Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery systems, aerosolized medications, and nebulization treatments in accordance with physician orders. Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients requiring ventilatory support, ensuring optimal settings and patient safety. Perform airway management procedures including intubation assistance and suctioning to maintain airway patency.
