A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

About the Role Sarasota Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join its outpatient rehabilitation team at the University Parkway Care Center. The CHT will evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity conditions , developing individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving independence. Must-Haves Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Occupational Therapy degree (OTD or Master's in OT) Current professional licensure as a PT or OT Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) Minimum 3 years of clinical practice as a licensed PT or OT prior to CHT examination Ideally 3-5 years of clinical experience Why This Opportunity?
