A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

I'm hiring for a Respiratory Therapist in Florida ! Under general supervision, the RRT will perform all respiratory care related duties, set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages, and be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.

Full-time and permanent

Shift :

Days or Nights with weekend rotation

Requirements :

College degree, RRT cert, prior experience

Pay :

$27-$36/hr
