Augusta, Georgia Position Summary Eagle Home Medical is seeking a Site Manager / Respiratory Therapist (RT) to oversee daily operations supporting our home respiratory care services in the Augusta, Georgia area. This position combines site leadership, personnel management, operational oversight, and hands-on respiratory therapy responsibilities . The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that patient services are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with VA contract requirements, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards. This is a salaried management position . In addition to the employee's regular salary, Eagle Home Medical provides additional straight-time compensation for hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek , in accordance with company policy. The Site Manager will supervise Respiratory Therapists, Field Service Technicians, and other assigned personnel while working closely with Eagle Home Medical's Operations and Clinical leadership. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized leader who is comfortable managing a busy home respiratory operation while remaining actively involved in patient care and field operations when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Augusta service location and assigned service area. Provide direct supervision, leadership, scheduling support, and accountability for Respiratory Therapists, Field Service Technicians, and other assigned personnel. Monitor staff workload, productivity, documentation, performance, and compliance with company policies and VA contract requirements. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action for site personnel. Ensure patient setups, scheduled visits, equipment services, deliveries, preventive maintenance, and other required services are completed within established timeframes. Perform home respiratory visits as needed, including patient assessment, equipment setup, education, troubleshooting, and follow-up. Provide respiratory therapy services for patients using oxygen, PAP therapy, ventilators, and other respiratory equipment within the scope of practice and contract requirements. Support the care and management of home ventilator patients, including equipment setup, patient/caregiver education, troubleshooting, and scheduled clinical visits. Ensure emergency and after-hours service requests are handled promptly and within required response times. Participate in the site's on-call rotation as required. Oversee oxygen equipment, respiratory equipment, medical supplies, and warehouse inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels for routine and emergency patient needs. Maintain an organized, safe, and operationally efficient warehouse and service location. Coordinate equipment inspection, cleaning, preventive maintenance, repair, and documentation in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and Eagle Home Medical procedures. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care, equipment activity, inventory, expenses, incidents, and other operational records. Investigate and promptly report incidents involving patients, caregivers, employees, vehicles, or company equipment. Monitor site operations for compliance with applicable safety, infection-control, clinical, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Communicate operational needs, staffing concerns, equipment requirements, and service issues to Eagle Home Medical leadership. Help identify and resolve operational problems while maintaining continuity of patient services. Promote a professional, accountable, and patient-focused work environment. Perform additional duties as necessary to support successful performance of the Augusta contract. Required Education, Licensure, and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required. Current NBRC credential as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. Current and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license applicable to the State of Georgia. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Prior hospital, home respiratory, DME/HME, or other direct patient-care experience. Experience with home mechanical ventilation and respiratory equipment management . Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced home healthcare environment. Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions, and appropriately escalate clinical or operational concerns. Comfortable working directly with patients and caregivers in the home environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic documentation, equipment-management, and company software systems. Supervisory, management, or team-lead experience strongly preferred. Prior VA, government-contract, DME/HME, or home respiratory experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to routinely lift, carry, push, and maneuver respiratory equipment and medical supplies. Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50-100 pounds regularly , with heavier equipment requiring appropriate assistance or material-handling equipment. Ability to perform physical work involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, loading, unloading, and equipment handling. Ability to work in patient homes, warehouse environments, healthcare facilities, and other service locations. Ability to drive as necessary throughout the assigned service area. Schedule & On-Call Responsibilities This is a full-time, salaried management position. The Site Manager must maintain flexibility to address staffing needs, patient service issues, emergencies, and operational requirements. Participation in the site's after-hours and weekend on-call rotation is required in accordance with Eagle Home Medical policy and applicable contract requirements.
