Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with NICU experience for a 13-week contract assignment in Cartersville, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong neonatal critical care experience and be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment. AL01 Key Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments. Manage neonatal ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, and airway support equipment. Perform neonatal resuscitation and respond to respiratory emergencies. Obtain and analyze arterial, capillary, and venous blood gases. Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and respiratory care standards. Float to other respiratory care areas within competency as required. Required Qualifications Active Georgia Respiratory Care License. Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Recent NICU experience required.
