RCP License Full Job Description Role Overview:

Responsible for leading daily shift activities in a healthcare setting, ensuring safe and effective patient care through independent judgment. Provides direct patient care, medication administration, and supports staff, physicians, patients, and families. Acts as a clinical resource, facilitates onboarding, and promotes quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead shift operations by assigning patient care based on needs and staff competencies. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and ensure timely care delivery. Evaluate staff performance and provide clinical support and training. Monitor equipment, manage staffing levels, and oversee resource utilization. Participate in quality improvement, safety, and customer service initiatives. Maintain current knowledge and promote professional development. Conduct patient rounds to assess care quality and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and certifications.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and

NBRC-RRT.

Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas. Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Provider are preferred.
