ASAP Role Summary The Respiratory Therapist will provide on‑site respiratory assessments and monitoring for post‑hospitalization patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role focuses on strong clinical assessment, early intervention, and supporting readmission‑prevention efforts. Candidates must demonstrate independent clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively with facility staff. Key Responsibilities Perform respiratory assessments and reassessments for sub‑acute and long‑term care patients Identify early changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to support continuity of care Document assessments clearly and accurately within facility systems Support readmission‑prevention efforts and promote patient stability Requirements Active CRT or RRT credential with the NBRC Illinois RT license in good standing Strong respiratory assessment and clinical decision‑making skills Ability to start as soon as possible Experience in sub‑acute, post‑acute, or SNF settings preferred but not required Why Respiratory Therapists ChoosePEL/VIP PEL/VIP
