A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Full Job Description Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position in the healthcare organization. This role involves providing respiratory care services to patients, including performing quality control on pulmonary function testing (PFT) equipment. The position requires prior PFT experience and the capacity to conduct weekly quality control procedures.
Job Details:
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience:
1 year of experience, in addition to required certifications for respiratory therapists.
Schedule:
Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information:
Prior PFT experience is necessary, with specific duties including weekly quality control checks on the PFT machinery.
