Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

This position involves working on a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with night shifts scheduled. The role may require occasional floating to adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medical/Surgical/Tele, Emergency, or General Pediatrics units. The scheduled shift is 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information:
The role involves working primarily in a Level III NICU and PICU, with the possibility of floating to adult ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, Emergency, or General Pediatrics units. Every other weekend and holiday rotations are required.
