A Mental or Behavioral Health Counselor works with patients to treat mental health problems. Assesses patients and assists with diagnosis, counseling and crisis intervention. Consults with nurses, doctors and psychiatrists. May work with specific populations, such as youth, senior citizens or substance abusers, in group settings, facilities or hospitals.

Day shift | Full-time | 7:00 am - 7:30 pm Salary range: $27.69 - $40.50 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role: Administer group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations. Provide the patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. Work directly with the patient, family, physician, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
