Job Description

Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist (RT) specialization in Pediatric (PEDS) care is available in Illinois. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting the interdisciplinary team in delivering quality patient care. The role requires a proactive approach to patient management and adherence to clinical protocols.

Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

Active Illinois respiratory therapist license at time of submission, IL and IA licenses, at least 2 years of current respiratory therapy or RT (Respiratory Therapist) experience, BLS (American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross), ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, drivers license, and a skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist / RT discipline.

Additional Information:

Candidates must demonstrate proof of active licenses and certifications at the time of submission. All travelers must be more than 50 miles from the facility and have a taxable address accordingly. First-time travelers are accepted, with a weekly orientation scheduled every Monday. The position involves emergency response skills and requires adherence to clinical standards.
