Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist that would be interested in an 13 Week , full-time contract opportunity at a hospital in Rock Island , IL . Additional details of the contract are below:

$2,546/week Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package
• Taxable Wages = $1,300.00/week Weekly Housing Allowance = $770.00/week Weekly Meals & Incidentals Allowance = $476.00/week Estimated Weekly Take Home after taxes = $2,221.00
Schedule:
40 Hours 2PM - 10:30 PM every other weekend
No On-call Duration:
13 Weeks (likely extension)
Requirements:
2+ year of experience as
RRT IL RRT ACLS, NRP, & BLS MUST
reside 50+ miles away from facility (traveller) Possible float to ANY Quad City locations: Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf (IA), Muscatine (IA) (travel reimbursed). A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
