A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

6 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. No current placement allowed at

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 6 months current RRT experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Pediatric/PICU experience.
- Strong ICU experience.
Unit Details:
- Respiratory care treatments.
- Ventilator management
- invasive and noninvasive.
- Uses V800 Draeger vents, C1 Hamilton's, and Airvo for HHFNC.
- 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, Level 1 trauma, PICU, Level 3 NICU, and adult ECMO.
