Their healthcare requires special equipment, special buildings, special medicine, special dogs, and really, really special people. When Norton Children's opened its doors more than 130 years ago, we made a commitment to be a healthcare place just like that, a place that is just for kids. And each year we are getting bigger, smarter, and better together. Pediatric medicine is about trust. Families want to know when they come to see us that we are going to be with them through the entire journey and that if there's something new or innovative that might help their child that we're going to know about it and we're going to make it available. Children with complex medical conditions need care across an entire spectrum. They don't just need one specialist. They may need many specialists and they need a pediatric home.
