Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including ventilator management, airway management, and aerosolized medication delivery Respond to emergency codes (Blue and White) Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under physician supervision Conduct diagnostic procedures such as blood gas analysis, EKG, and chest films Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators Participate in hospital safety and quality initiatives, including surveys and compliance standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Serve as a shift leader or team lead if qualified
What You Need Required:
RT or RCP license in Louisiana BLS certification via
AHA ACLS
certification via
AHA NBRC
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential 1-3 years of adult ICU experience Ability to float between facilities and handle multiple responsibilities
Preferred:
Advanced practice skills such as pulmonary function testing, waveform analysis, and nocturnal SpO2 evaluation About the Assignment This role involves providing critical respiratory support in a busy hospital environment. You will work in a facility known for high standards of care, handling a patient ratio of 5:1 and managing complex respiratory cases across multiple units. Your expertise will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes in both critical and non-critical settings.
