Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in compliance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Support high-acuity patients across multiple campuses, including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, NICU, and PICU Attend high-risk deliveries, including intubation of neonates if necessary Manage airway and ventilator support, ABG analysis, and non-invasive ventilation Respond swiftly to code blue and rapid response situations Administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide Operate equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, ResMed Lumis TX, and NICU oscillators Float across four campuses within a 20-25 minute driving distance Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and department leaders to provide excellent patient care

What You Need Required:

LA State Licensure BLS and NRP certifications 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience in a high-acuity setting Comfort with high-risk deliveries and

NICU/PICU

support Valid driver's license and flexibility to float between campuses

Preferred:

ACLS and PALS certifications NBRC national accreditation Experience with advanced ventilators and neonatal intubation About the Assignment This role is based at a prominent healthcare facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, providing respiratory care in complex environments including NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and adult critical units. The assigned unit supports a diverse patient population with a variety of respiratory needs, and the RTs will work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to quality patient outcomes. The schedule involves 12-hour night shifts, with rotating weekends and call duties, offering a balanced work-life structure on a short-term contract from October 5, 2026, to January 2, 2027.
