Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid respiratory therapy license for the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility) Proven experience in acute care settings preferred Proficiency with ventilator management, airway care, and emergency response protocols Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory disorders across various age groups Administer therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance techniques Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment and ventilators Participate in rapid response calls and respiratory emergencies as needed Document care accurately and adhere to departmental protocols for quality and safety
