A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

(SKILLED NURSING) (LTACH) Now Hiring - Respiratory Therapist - Millbury, MA $40.00 Minimum to $45.00 Maximum Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials and any other relevant information. Care-One of Millbury The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory therapy under medical direction, in the treatment, management, control and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and diseases. Job duties include but are not limited to: 1. Accurately complete all required paperwork daily. 2. Edit and print delivery tickets. 3. Enter all delivery information into system. 4. Help with inventory management. 5. Sign out all equipment from equipment inventory for scheduled patients. 6. Resolve patient issues.
Position Requirements:
Must be a CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must demonstrate problem solving skills Must be able to accommodate varying shift times, evening hours, and some Saturdays Must have knowledge of Excel and Access. 5 + years' experience Team Player
