A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

$85.00-$250.00 per visit (contractor/1099)Schedule:

Paid training Role summary We're seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRTT or RRT) to deliver in-home respiratory care and perform equipment setups, including oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, suction, and high-tech ventilation. You'll commute to patient homes, provide education, and ensure safe, high-quality use of respiratory equipment. What you'll do- Perform in-home setups for CPAP/BiPAP, tracheostomy care, suction, and ventilation.
- Educate patients/caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Deliver prompt, "white glove" service and resolve issues during follow-up visits or calls.
- Plan efficient daily routes and complete timely electronic documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations, as needed. Minimum qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; active CRTT or RRT credential.
- Current, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation.
- Based in or able to commute within assigned area. Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Home health experience is a plus.
Commitment & Expectations:
- Must complete all pre-employment onboarding steps within required timelines, including background checks, drug screening, TB testing, and any site-specific credentialing.
- Must maintain active state licensure.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned locations as needed.
- Must respond promptly to onboarding and scheduling communications (email, text, or phone).
- Ability to use mobile devices or web-based systems to submit notes, time, or compliance documentation. Work model and location
