A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Week Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and oxygen therapy as ordered. Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory care equipment. Perform respiratory assessments and assist with airway management. Monitor patient responses to treatments and communicate changes to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow infection-control, safety, and facility protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care. Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) license/credential as required by the state. Previous clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist. BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
PALS, ACLS
& NRP, Preferred or as required by the facility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to work the assigned night shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
