Work Experience Full Time Night $5,000 Sign On Bonus $2,500 Referral Bonus for Current Employees As a Respiratory Care Practitioner you will: Perform therapeutic and technical procedures that require independent judgment and knowledge of the theory and practice of Respiratory Care. Generous tuition reimbursement to support your continuing education and professional growth Must be a graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy Successfully passed the Registry Board examination of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Maryland. The candidate must successfully complete hospital orientation and departmental based orientation programs and possess and maintain a current BCLS certification. ACLS and PALS certification is also required and must be completed within the first year of employment and maintained thereafter Benefits All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
