A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Administer respiratory therapies independently or with physician consultation Evaluate and treat patients according to protocols Deliver aerosol medications and metered-dose inhalers Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including arrest or rapid response calls, maintaining airway management and life support Set up and manage oxygen therapy per established protocols Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary Maintain accurate documentation of care providedWhat You Need:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license Proven experience with respiratory and emergency care procedures Ability to work night shifts and respond quickly under pressure Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork abilities About theAssignment:
