Qualifications:
Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid state Respiratory Therapy license (or eligibility) Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various acuity levels Assess, plan, and implement appropriate respiratory interventions Operate and maintain ventilators, nebulizers, and related respiratory equipment Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and self-care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Accurately document treatment plans, patient responses, and progress
