Role Overview As a Respiratory Therapist-Clinical Specialist, you will serve as the on-site Respiratory Therapy leader, providing direction, supervision, and specialized care to patients. You'll work collaboratively with department leadership, medical staff, and nursing to ensure high-quality patient outcomes, implement departmental goals, and support staff development in a dynamic, teaching-focused environment. What You Will Do Provide direction and supervision as the on-site Respiratory Therapy leader. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement departmental goals and policies. Facilitate staff assignments and coordinate work to meet patient needs. Monitor quality assurance, patient risk management, and compliance with standards. Participate in staff orientation, student training, and teaching programs. Act as a resource for staff, physicians, and administrative leadership. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program with an Associate Degree. Current Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Valid current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan. Three to five (3-5) years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience and/or 1 year of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
