Key Responsibilities:
Deliver life-support, resuscitation, and continuous monitoring, along with medical gas therapies, to patients in Intensive Care and General Practice Units. Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory diagnostic procedures with precision and expertise. Maintain versatility for departmental assignments, ensuring proficiency across various business units. Communicate effectively with patients, families, care teams, and physicians to promote optimal patient care. Thoroughly document all aspects of patient care in accordance with regulatory and facility standards. Supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to respiratory therapists, orientees, externs, and students, supporting a collaborative environment. Complete accurate and timely documentation required for patient billing processes.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Current state licensure (or eligibility). Experience in critical care and general practice settings strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead and educate team members, students, and new hires. High attention to detail with excellent documentation abilities.
