Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program BLS certification (required);
ACLS/PALS
preferred Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings highly desirable Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to patients of varying acuity levels Monitor and assess patient progress, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff Administer and adjust mechanical ventilation as needed Educate patients and their families about respiratory care interventions Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
