A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Casual. Nights/Hours Vary. 401k. Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a casual Respiratory Therapist in our Respiratory Therapy department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) BLS certified ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary purpose of this position is to provide logistical support for the operations of the Respiratory Care Department. Perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient.
