Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Recent experience in acute care settings, including ventilator and airway management Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and implement respiratory care plans for patients of varying ages and conditions Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizers Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Accurately document treatments, assessments, and progress in medical records Educate patients and families about respiratory health and home care practices
