Qualifications:
Active license and credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) Respiratory Care Degree from an accredited program Previous experience in acute or critical care settings preferred Certification in BLS and ACLS Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Familiarity with modern respiratory therapy equipment and best practices
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to patients with a variety of respiratory illnesses Assess, evaluate, and monitor patient progress and response to treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care Assist with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and emergency respiratory interventions Educate patients and families on therapies and home care requirements Adhere to all safety, infection control, and documentation standards
