Key Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain). BLS certification required; ACLS certification is highly desirable. Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is preferred. Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for a variety of patient populations. Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility standards.
