Respiratory Therapist Assignment Length:

13 weeks with possible extension

Location:

Southfield, MI Shift:

Nights (7p-7:30a)

Pay Rate:

$58/hour

Duties:

Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients. Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Experience:

2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Neonatal intensive care experience preferred. Experience working in a Trauma Level 2 facility preferred.

Job Requirements:

Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Current RT licensure Current ARRT or NBRC registration Current BLS Certification from AHA Who We Are?
