Job Description

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our compassionate healthcare team. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will utilize your specialized knowledge and advanced medical technology to assist patients with cardiopulmonary challenges. Our hospital is committed to providing comprehensive and personalized patient care, and we are looking for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our patients through exceptional respiratory services. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis, lung capacity, and pulmonology screenings. Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Perform therapeutic procedures, such as chest physiotherapy, aerosol medication administration, and mechanical ventilation management. Monitor patient response to treatment and modify treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and their families about lung health and maintaining pulmonary health. Required Skills Proficiency in ventilator management Expertise in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and airway management Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
