This full-time Respiratory Therapist position in Havre, Montana focuses on delivering specialized care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, collaborating with physicians and other providers to implement optimal treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy Monitor and record patient responses to treatment Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis Maintain and operate ventilators and other respiratory support equipment Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and update patient care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies Ensure all equipment is sanitized, functional, and complies with safety standards

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
