Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; variable shifts may be available depending on assignment needs
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, with active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Respiratory Therapist Current BLS and ACLS certifications; additional credentials preferred Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting strongly desired Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and patient education to diverse populations Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to individualize care plans Accurately document patient care activities and progress Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies such as code situations Uphold rigorous infection control and safety standards
