Required Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state licensure (or eligibility) BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of respiratory care equipment and best practices Effective communication and teamwork abilities Minimum of one year of recent acute care or hospital experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and administer respiratory care treatments to patients of all ages Operate ventilators and advanced life support equipment safely and efficiently Monitor and document patient responses, adjusting therapy as needed Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals on patient care plans Ensure sterile and safe work environment per hospital protocol
