Schedule/Hours:

12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every other weekend rotation No on-call requirements Expect to work approximately 75% of holidays

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) Active North Carolina licensure required Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP At least 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy, including work with ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV) Previous work in ED, PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric PCU, and general medical floors preferred Willingness to care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as needed Open to first-time travelers with appropriate background

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy across all patient care areas within the facility Utilize EPIC EMR and advanced respiratory equipment, including specialty ventilators Collaborate with a dedicated respiratory leadership team and multi-disciplinary staff Follow departmental protocols; no floating to external facilities Complete required orientation, including new employee onboarding and two days within the department
