Job Description

Position Overview:
Full-time Respiratory Therapist position, 36 hours per week, covering the 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM shift across three scheduled nights. Join a small, family-oriented facility where teamwork, mutual support, and high-quality patient care drive everything we do.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform a broad range of respiratory care procedures and serve as a reliable team member during both routine and emergent patient care events. Duties include administering aerosol therapies, performing EKG assessments, and providing non-invasive and invasive ventilatory support including NPPV and CPAP. The therapist will manage mechanical ventilators, assist on Code Blue responses, and actively participate in Rapid Response Team activities.
Clinical Tasks:
Conduct aerosol treatments and therapeutic respiratory interventions Obtain and interpret EKGs and rhythm strips Provide and monitor NPPV, CPAP, and ventilator settings and patient tolerance Respond to emergent situations such as Code Blue and Rapid Response calls Set up and troubleshoot Holter monitors and document findings Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff on care plans
Required Credentials:
RRT or CRT credential current with the NBRC is required. ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS certifications are required; if not current, completion may be arranged after hire.
