A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

Welcoming hospital just outside of Grand Island, NE is seeking a full-time, permanent Respiratory Therapist to join their growing team! Excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus are provided!
Pay Range:
$29.00 - $38.00/hour
The Respiratory Therapist Opportunity:
Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position Excellent benefits including health/dental/vision coverages Generous sign-on bonus provided for selected Respiratory Therapist Relocation assistance is provided on a needed basis 36 hours per week working 12-hour shifts Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary conditions/disorders Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing diagnostic tests and managing mechanical ventilators
Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
Must be CRT or RRT certified by NBRC Must possess or be eligible to obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP within first few weeks of employment
