A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative hospital team. If you're experienced in critical respiratory care and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this travel opportunity is for you!

Bricktown, NJ Assignment Length:
13 Weeks 3 x 12-hour shifts 36 hours per week Every other weekend required One summer holiday and one winter holiday required No on-call requirements No floating required Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License AHA BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience (3+ years preferred) Experience with: Mechanical ventilation management Airway management Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment Simple, Stress-Free Onboarding Getting started is easy.
