A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

What You'll Be Doing Responsibilities:
Assesses plans, administers, and evaluates patients receiving all respiratory care modalities as ordered by a physician or as delineated by medical center protocols. Responsible for the delivery of respiratory care services to the in-patient, out-patient and emergency room population. Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of quality patient care. Provides emergency, critical care, and general care respiratory services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.What We're Looking For Requirements:
Graduate of A.M.A. approved school for Respiratory Care; A.A.S minimum degree required Must have NJ Respiratory Care License Must have C. R. T. and R. R. T.
