About the Role As our Respiratory Therapist, you'll become the clinical expert for our respiratory department while building meaningful relationships with patients, physicians, hospitals, and referral partners throughout New Mexico. You'll provide education, clinical support, and follow-up to help patients successfully manage respiratory conditions in the comfort of their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Educating patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of respiratory equipment. Providing clinical support for patients receiving: Home Oxygen Therapy CPAP/BiPAP Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Nebulizer Therapy Suction Equipment Bilirubin Therapy Other respiratory-related home medical equipment Performing respiratory therapy services prescribed by physicians while maintaining the highest standards of care. Monitoring patient progress, compliance, and outcomes while communicating with physicians and referral sources. Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring patients receive ongoing education and support. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation to support quality patient care and insurance requirements. Collaborating with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Assisting with quality assurance initiatives and maintaining compliance with all state, federal, OSHA, FDA, CHAP, and Respiratory Board regulations. Interested in Growing Your Career? Current New Mexico RRT or CRT License. Current CPR Certification. High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening. Preferred Home Medical Equipment (HME/DME) experience. Experience with oxygen therapy, PAP therapy, and respiratory equipment. Strong communication and customer service skills.
